MAiD Grief Support Group

A safe, confidential group dedicated to providing support for individuals and families processing grief after a death through Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). The grief support group meets once weekly for four weeks consecutively at Chilliwack Hospice Society, located at 7112 Vedder Road. Friends and family are welcome to join a group of fellow grievers whose loved one has also died by MAiD. 

A grief support group offers an opportunity to connect with others who are grieving the death of a loved one; to improve one’s understanding of the grief process; to facilitate individual grief work; and to increase one’s awareness of strengths and coping abilities.
