Educational Workshops
Throughout the year Chilliwack Hospice Society hosts a variety of in-person and virtual educational workshops and presentations for the community. Topics may include advance care planning, financial and legal matters, self-care and wellness. Educational workshops are provided for free thanks to the generosity of individual donors and businesses in our community. Browse our upcoming educational workshops listed below.
Space is limited. Please pre-register by contacting Laurie McNaught, Community Outreach & Education Manager, at (604) 795-4660 or email laurie@chilliwackhospice.org
Through the therapeutic process of pour painting, we’ll explore the complex emotions often held within. Each participant will choose colours to represent their feelings, filling their cups with a unique combination of emotions. As the paint is poured and spreads across the canvas, it creates a visual story—a beautiful and one-of-a-kind reflection of the grief journey. This shared creative experience can help release and honour the swirling, sometimes messy emotions that come with loss.
Led by Executive Director Sue Knott, this workshop is a safe space for connection and creativity.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to join our upcoming pour painting workshop, please contact Deanna Fedorkew, Community Outreach and Education Manager, at (604) 795-4660 or email deanna@chilliwackhospice.org
