Chilliwack Hospice Society is hosting a Memorial Celebration on November 18, starting at 6:00pm, at Chilliwack Museum & Archives, located at 45820 Spadina Avenue. Featuring guest speaker Cristal Biela, and a musical performance by singer-songwriter Jennifer Victor, this free event brings our grief community together for a time of reflection and support in the company of others who loved has died. The annual Memorial Celebration is for everyone who is grieving — whether the death occurred recently or several years ago.

Crista Biela, MA, RCC

Cristal Biela is a wife and mother to four adult children, lives on an off-grid homestead, and works as a Community Health Specialist with Fraser Health in Chilliwack; specializing in enhancing resilience to prevent and buffer the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences for children, youth, and their families in Chilliwack. Cristal will be sharing about her journey through grief, both personally and professionally, and how weaving moments of joy into her days has helped her through the grieving process.

Jennifer Victor

Jennifer Victor is a singer-songwriter from Chilliwack. She launched her YouTube channel in 2016, which soon led to writing and releasing her own original music. Since then, she has collaborated with many incredible musicians world-wide, reaching over 9 million streams on Spotify. She has a passion for mental health awareness, and using music as a healing tool.

Guests are asked to please bring a framed photo of their loved one with them. Light refreshments will be served. Organizers ask that guests please RSVP by calling (604) 795-4660.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Street parking and elevator access is available. There is no smoking on the premises.
