Valentine’s Day can be a challenging time for those whose lives have been touched by grief or serious illness. Join us for “Celebration of Love,” a special gathering designed to provide connection and support for those whose Valentine’s Day may look a little different this year.
Co-facilitated by Deanna Fedorkew, with volunteers Colleen Johnson and Marilyn Vik, this meaningful event is open to individuals who are grieving the death of a loved one or supporting someone with a life-limiting illness. Together, we will share in:
- A Sharing Circle to honour our feelings and experiences.
- Rituals and remembrances to celebrate love and memories.
- Valentine making as a creative expression of connection and care.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided in a warm and welcoming space.
Come as you are and take this time to reflect, connect, and honour the love that endures.
