In advance of Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, August 28, Chilliwack Hospice Society invites you to a special memorial gathering for those grieving the death of a beloved pet or companion animal, or caring for an animal nearing the end of life on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Facilitated by Karlee Gross with Deanna Fedorkew, this gentle event offers a space of comfort and connection with others who understand the deep bonds we share with our animal companions.

Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of their pet(s) and to share memories and stories in the supportive company of fellow grievers. Our grief support professionals will speak to the impact animals have on our lives and the importance of acknowledging and validating pet loss. An optional expressive arts activity will be offered to honour your pet’s memory. Families are welcome; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register for the Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day Memorial, please contact Karlee Gross, BA (Hons.), at (604) 795-4660 or email karlee@chilliwackhospice.org.
This Chilliwack Hospice Society program is provided free of cost thanks to the generosity of individual donors and businesses in our community.
